Insta-Sheds are custom built, fully insulated sheds constructed by Insta-Insulation at our head office facility in Ontario.
Insta-Sheds are available in various sizes, from as small as 4×4 to as large as 10×10. We can do custom sizes as well. We offer two roof styles: gable and lean-to.
All our sheds are durable structures because they are made out of 26 gauge steel Insta-Panels. Wood is used in our larger sheds as a post and beam system, and this wood is protected from the elements; because of this, you will not need to worry about wood rot. In addition, the steel structure is too tough for rodents to chew through.
Furthermore, the R-11 rated Insta-Panels provide an excellent way to insulate your shed, keeping moisture to a minimum and temperature under control.
Do our sheds sound expensive? They aren’t!
Why You Need an Insulated Shed
A shed is designed to protect and extend the life of its stored contents. After all, here in Canada, with four seasons we can have some pretty nasty weather and leaving our belongings, such as motorcycles, power tools, jet skis, and boating equipment, unprotected is not smart comfort for our investments.
Insulated sheds go beyond just keeping some of the rain and snow away from your property. An insulated shed reduces condensation. When you reduce condensation, you are protecting shed contents from rust, mold, mildew, and rot. When dealing with wood sheds, a case of wood rot will not only look awful, but the damage to your shed and its contents can be costly.
Fast temperature changes can damage your equipment. By storing your equipment in an insulated shed, when the temperature rises or drops, it takes longer for heat to enter/exit the structure, making the temperature change inside much more gradually than if it were uninsulated.
Expand your work space – An insulated shed can easily become a comfortable workshop year round. In the winter, add a little heat and the insulation does the rest. Heat will be kept in the shed much longer than a standard shed. In the summer, the opposite is true; it takes longer for heat from the outside to work its way into your shed, making it much more comfortable during warm weather.
Further, one of the most costly weaknesses in most sheds today is the failure to install a rain guard on the floor. By not doing so, it allows rain and snow to enter into the building from the floor, increasing condensation inside the shed and putting your property at risk.
